McAsphalt Marine Transportation Limited (MMTL) is a partnership between Upper Lakes Group Inc. and McAsphalt Industries Limited. The joint venture owns a fleet of two Integrated Tug/Barge units, "Everlast/Norman McLeod" and "Victorious/John J. Carrick".

MMTL is committed to providing our customer with the best, most efficient black oil transportation available on the Great Lakes and Eastern Seaboard.

The OPA90 compliant, Lloyd's Registered, double hulled barges and dedicated tugs are the most modern hot oil vessels available. They are equipped with sophisticated navigation guidance equipment and are fully integrated with units utilizing an Articouple linkage system.

Sterling Marine Fuels, strategically located on the Detroit River in Windsor, Ontario, has been proudly serving the ships of the Great Lakes fleet for over 50 years. Their commitment to service and quality has driven the recent expansion of their marine terminal to provide a 1,000-foot dock with 27 feet of seaway draft that accommodates even the largest of vessels. With a wide turning area for down bound vessels and easy access to the shipping channel, your ship can safely and quickly refuel to continue its voyage.
